B-town celebrates Navratri

Navratri is just a few days away and the excitement is already building, as people all over the country are getting ready for the nine-day festive spree of fun, food, fashion and family. Bollywood veterans like Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher tweet Navratri wishes to all their fans. Amitabh Bachchan tweeted “T 2025 – Happy Navratri…”, Rishi Kapoor sent out “Happy Navratri to all”, while Anupam Kher conveyed his wishes saying “ Happy Navratri to all. Love, Peace & Happiness always. :)”

The video for the song features legends, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha, while the song itself was composed by another person of legendary status, Laxmikant Pyarelal. Though a film song, Sabse Bada Tera Naam is considered a devotional tune. The melody is sung by Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle, who add those golden touches, that they were known so much for.



3.Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje – ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’

Although considered to be one of those songs that are the most overplayed at Navratri dances, ‘Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje’ is a catchy tune that is delightful to dance to. The movie ‘Hum Dil Chuke Sanam’ featured Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn, while the track only saw Salman and Aishwarya dance it out. This groovy melody, composed by Ismail Darbar, is a tune no one can avoid shaking their hips to.
